"Let Food Be Thy Medicine And Medicine Be Thy Food"

We are living in a time where most doctors and people think pharmaceutical drugs are the only option in which people feel they need to turn for pain and not many suggestions are being given to people on what other avenues (alternatives) they can have for that Ultimate Healing.
Years ago there were no drugs to seek but food and land for answers on healing.  An example, the Native Indians.  Foods can heal the body.  Some pharmaceutical drugs have saved people lives but side effects linkers as well.
People need to know what is out there besides medical drugs that can help the body and possible correct the damage happened to the body.  Foods can get to the root of the problem even though it can take a while to try in reverse what was done than drugs just putting a band aid over the the issue, not correcting it, and leaving a drastic side effect.  The side effect which is now another healing issue you've never had, therefore, you now have another problem to resolve.
Doctors and patients need to sit and talk.  Have an open mind and give some alternatives for patients.  If you have a patient that has been on a drug for extended amount of time and the patient is in and out of your office constantly - Why not say to the patient, "Stop.  Lets' re-evaluate and look at your diet lifestyle and see by increasing certain kinds of foods in diet that can be able to help contribute to getting off the medication."

Doctors need to do their jobs more differently and patients need to go beyond their steps in seeking a cure for their condition, such as, researching health issues and foods that can help their situation and bring it to the forefront of their health care.
Right now information is practically available and actual research testing has been done on some of the health problems majority of people are experiencing.  Today (some countries) information are at one's fingertips from internet, newspapers, research journals, magazines, word mouth, and alternative holistic centers.  Some stores are now giving out free health magazines.  I highly suggest if you see one, then pick it up.  Reading is the best thing for yourself.  Knowledge is power and how you perceive it is even better.
