WHAT HAPPENED TO ME LAST WEEK? SNEAK PEAK...

"Enjoying the beauty of Iceland"

The Blue Lagoon
Iceland

That's right!  Go ahead and make those OOOO and AH noises/sounds... Did a trip of a lifetime so much to share and stories to tell!  Will post in future postings definitely!

I still have jet lag and my body muscles are sore due to the strenuous tour activity I did on last Thursday, November 14, 2013 - snowmobiling on Iceland's second biggest Glacier Langjokull (Long Glacier) and the amount of walking Melanie and I did.  My body and mind is now trying to readjust to my usual day of life in New York.

WHAT DID YOU DO FOR EARTH DAY OR NATIONAL PARK WEEK?

"EXPLORED THE STATE OF ARIZONA"

The Grand Canyon
with Friend Viewers
Tameka  F., Melanie, Tarsha, Rea (me), Vanessa

I took a mini vacation with great friends to the state of Arizona where some of us flew into Phoenix then drove to Flagstaff to meet up with the rest of the girls.  This past Monday April 22, 2013 Earth Day we celebrated by taking a breathless tour to one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.

Our tour guide was, David, from Discover Grand Canyon.  He was excellent and patient with us ladies.

Thank you David for a wonderful historical nature lesson trip.

Plus, I cannot forget, the last night history 101 lesson from, Will O'Daniel, at the the Wyndham Flagstaff Resort.  Vanessa and I talked his ear off with 50 million questions on the history background of the Native Indians (who are still living at the bottom of the Canyon) and his personal journey hike by  himself hiking down the bottom of the Canyon.  Thanks Will!

**There will be more future posts of the trip and other trips I've experienced coming soon.
