"Juicing/Blending Tuesday"
Blueberry Mango Coconut Water |
We all know "coconut water" is the new crave. Everywhere you turn in a store a new coconut water brand company is emerging. Some coconut waters are flavored or has added ingredients like citric acid, sugar, and artificial colorings (which I do not understand why would anybody want to add those ingredients).
Here I took the challenge in creating my own flavor with just three pure ingredients that can benefit the body as well.
Shopping List |
- 1 - 11oz container of pure coconut water
- 3/4 cup of organic blueberries
- 1 quarter size slice of organic ginger
- 1/2 of a riped mango
Healthy Benefits |
Blueberries are high in antioxidants and "brain food."
Mangoes are "heart friendly" and alkalizes the whole body. It normalizes the insulin levels in the blood.
Ginger helps the digestive system and fights ovarian cancer. It's an anti-inflammatory agent.
Directions
- Thoroughly wash all produce.
- Slice a half of mango and a quarter size piece of ginger.
- Add all ingredients including the coconut water.
* Tip: You can use frozen blueberries.
