Metabolism is chemical reactions that takes place in the body's cells. Metabolism converts the fuel in the food we eat into energy.
Here are the top seven foods that will INCREASE metabolism:
- Green tea
- Cinnamon
- Almonds
- Berries
- Turkey and lean protein
- Whey protein
- Jalapeno or Cayenne peppers
Here are the worse seven foods that will DECREASE metabolism: (slows down)
- Potato Chips
- Donuts
- Corn Chips
- Ice Cream
- Sugar
- Fried Foods
- Cereal
Foods are not the only key in controlling a good metabolism incorporating exercise, going to bed earlier, and checking your medication (studies show medication can slow down your metabolism).
