THE WONDERS OF HIMALAYAN PINK CRYSTAL SALT

"Himalayan Crystal Salt Candle Holder"

Holistic Healing

Have you seen these heavy Himalayan Pink Crystal Salts around?  It's popping up all over with good reason.  I bought this one last year (about $25) - it caught my attention at a gift market in Union Square during the holidays.

The Himalayan Crystal Salt candle holder and/or lamp is a natural ion generator emitting negative ions into the atmosphere.  Negative ions are odorless, tasteless, and invisible molecules in which we inhale.

How does it work?

The crystal salt has a deep hole in the middle where you would place a tea light candle (no chemical candle) or a mini light bulb and the heat helps release the negative ions into the air.  The heat gives the crystal a nice glow.

The benefits of having negative ions around your environment:
  • Boosts serotonin (mood) levels
  • Purifies and neutralizes air quality
  • Supports immune system
  • Improves mental alertness
  • Increases chi
  • Relieve fatigue
  • Gives a calming effect
You see why I had to get one.  Better yet 2!  I bought a second one (a lamp - on sale for $14.99)  this year during the summer while spending a day at the American Museum of Natural History, New York. (I took nice pictures of the artifacts at this great museum will post soon)

If you do not like using candles in your home, then the above Himalayan Pink Crystal Salt lamp (electrical) is another option to achieve the same effect.

In conclusion, the Himalayan Crystal Salt candle holder or lamp is one of the new methods out on today's market in which some people are utilizing to help promote holistic healing for their well being.
